BUSINESS ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT 120
DESCRIPTION
This is an introductory course in business organization, operation, and management. The understanding of business operations as practiced in Canada is a major objective of the course. The main areas of study include legal forms of ownership, management, marketing, finance and includes a computer simulation.
The course follows a traditional method of lecture and class work with the added element of project based learning. Students will be working with the community to identify and solve problems. Through a series of steps the end result will be the building of a product or a service business culminating in students presenting their work at an end-of-year showcase event. Throughout the course we will be working closely with the local community and the showcase event provides the opportunity to reveal students creations.

We will be using office.com and more specifically the programs Outlook, Calendar, OneNote and Teams as our virtual workspace.
